
The internet and mobile network services have been suspended across several cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Karachi, Attock and Rawalpindi.
According to the details, the services have been suspended in several parts of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Wah Cantt and Taxila ahead of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest call at the D-chowk Islamabad. Netizens in Karachi have been complaining about disruption in accessing social media services in Karachi as well.
As per authorities, this decision aims to maintain public order and prevent the spread of misinformation during the planned demonstrations.
