The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) alleged on X(Formerly Twitter) sharing a footage that female protestors being physically assaulted by police officers during protests against alleged rigging in the General Election 2024.

On X (formerly Twitter), the footage was shared Here and Here gaining upwards of more than 260.7K views.
Fact Check:
Inorder to verify the claim we extracted keyframes from the footage and performed a reverse image search. Reverse image search revealed the shared video dates back to February 2021 from Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) after three women accused of stealing were verbally abused and thrashed by male cops. After the video went viral Chief Minister Mehmood Khan took notice of the incident and The Inspector General of Police ordered the immediate suspension of the police officers involved in the incident
