Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Threads not working amid major outage. Apparently a technical glitch in the company’s system has knocked all the platforms offline globally.
According to internet tracking platform, downdetector arounf 11 pm Pakistan time, all of Meta’s platforms including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Threads appear to have broken in a huge outage after suffering a major technical issue. Problems appeared to be widespread across the world, the site showed.
Meta does not have any official status pages for its user-facing apps. But they use social media platforms to update or comment on the issue.
“Hi, we know there’s a technical issue impacting some people’s ability to access Instagram,” it wrote on the official Instagram page on X/Twitter. “We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and are sorry for any inconvenience.”
