MITHI: A Thari youth Mohammad Saleem Rahimoon hailing from village Mithi Dhabro of Diplo taluka has become the first ever Assistant Commissioner from his community of drought hit Thar.

Saleem, who is the son of a retired peon of the revenue department passed the competitive examination with flying colors and has been posted as an Assistant Commissioner at Board of Revenue  Sindh in Karachi.

Mohammad Mubrak Rahimoon, the proud father of the brilliant student told that his son  got  his primary education from his native village and then got admissions in the schools  of Thar and Badin districts where he focused on his studies and finally achieved the goal cherished the goal cherished by him  and other relatives.

He said that despite the fact that he was serving as low-paid government servant, he always encouraged his son, who lived up to the expectations. He told that he had directed his son to always serve the people of his community as well as the area people without any discrimination.
